I’m a photographer that loves food, dragon boating, animals and most of all, being a father to my newborn son whom brings me great joy and excitement on a daily basis!
As you can expect, cooking is a great source of inspiration to me and is the main reason why I got into photography. Over a decade ago, I decided to take my cooking skills to the next level. By doing so, it gave me ample opportunities to experiment with the camera, the lighting and the angles. To figure out and capture the right shot to make anyone drool and say ‘I want’.
From there, Dragon Boating and staying active has given me numerous opportunities to sharpen my skills, most recently at the Pan Am 2019 Dragon Boat competition in Trinidad and Tobago. There I raced with and documented the exploits of the Verdun Dragon Boat club; one of the oldest clubs in Canada.
As inspiration comes, there is no greater inspiration than being a father to a newborn son. The opportunity to see the world with fresh eyes, where every experience is a new experience, is simply breathtaking. There is nothing better!
All put together, with over 6 years of product, from event and portrait (family and corporate) photography to capturing surreal landscapes from all over, there isn’t a challenge or angle that I won’t miss capturing.
